S317 - Purple-Gold Aurora Black Sabino W/ Orc (dom), Fangs (dom), Mystic (dom), Familiar (pass)
The basics
Genos for the EWH are very similar to normal horses, but with a few little extra details. They will ALWAYS be set up as follows....
StoneRarity / Color(s) / Marking Mutations (if any) / Physical Mutations (if any)
EXAMPLE ONE::: Diamond Palomino --- RAR / ee / AA / nCr
RAR = Dominate Rare / ee = non red carrier / AA = Dominate Agouti / nCr = Single dilution Cream
EXAMPLE TWO::: Silver Bay Tobiano Snowleopard w/ Dragon horns ----- nCOM / EE / AA / nT / SNL / DRH
Com = Single common (or one dominate, one passive gene) / EE = Dominate red / AA = dominate Agouti / nT = Single tobiano gene / SNL = dominate Snowleopard marks / DRH = Dominate dragon horns
The Stone Fur
The color of the stone fur, other than having its rarity decided, doesn't have true genetics for the color. Most commonly, foals are one of the parents colors, or a combo of the colors, but not always.
COM - Common (nCOM - recessive)
SEM - Semi Precious (nSEM - recessive)
PRC - Precious (nPRC - recessive)
RAR - Rare (nRAR - recessive)
NOTE:: All cap letters (ABC) means Dominate. Cap letters with lowercase (Abc) means recessive. N followed by the geno letters (NAbc) means carrier. MOST genes are visible when recessive, and most only cause a "faded" result of the mutation. Carrier genes are NEVER visible.
Mutations are ranked on a point system from 1 - 10 based on their rarity and potential for defect. Lower rankings will be more common and be more safe to any future breedings. Higher rankings are seen less commonly and are sometimes accompanied with a breeding risk.
Mutation rankings will stack on one another. If your Elven Warhorse has a 2 point mutation and an 8 point mutation, their overall rating becomes 10.
As rarity points increase in number so does the potential for genetic defects and mortality rates. Elven Warhorses with many rarity points may be sterilized to prevent dangerous breedings.
MUTATION RANKINGS
1 - DARK MARKS. - A random marking that creates darkened patterns or marks. Not fully understood. Does seem to be genetic, but can also appear randomly. Dark Marks DO NOT appear in their genetic code.
--- Carried Dark Mark does NOT count towards rarity points. It only counts when expressed, unlike other mutations.
1 - REVERSE APPALOOSA - It Is a normal appaloosa gene, but can become reversed in color on an EWH. This causes a white horse to have a colored blanket with white spots. A Full Body Reverse Appy will be colored with white spots, which can be confusing with other marks.
--- Carried Reverse does NOT count towards rarity points. It only counts when expressed, unlike other mutations.
1 - ZEBRA - Zebra or tiger-like striping across the body. ZBR is visible over the whole body. Zbr is only partially visible (meaning either faded, broken or only part of the body/less than 90%)
1 - STARBURST - A burst of color, typically with a center that's slightly darker than the base coat, and darker edges. Should be in a "Starburst" shape. Appears as Snl only.
1 - SNOW LEOPARD - Creates leopard-like spots that are typically slightly darker than the base coat in the center, and lined in even darker. Occasionally affects stonefur. Only visible as dom SNL, (Snl causes StarBurst)
1 - FANGS - FNG causes long, saber-like teeth. Fng causes longer fangs that just barely poke out from the mouth.
1 - FEATHERS - FTH is fully visible in mane and tail. If paired with other mutations, it can spread across the body (Such as Yak, Wings, and fetlocks). Fth may have some quills in the mane and tail, but no true feathers.
1 - GOAT BEARD - GB causes a thick silky beard on the horse's chin with varying lengths. Gb still causes a beard but tends to be thinner and more scruffy.
1 - FETLOCKS - FET is visible as full fetlocks reaching as far up on the leg as the knees and hocks. Dom fets tend to be very thick. Occasionally, a random mutation will appear being FET2. FET2 only places fetlocks on 1-3 of the legs, not all four. This is thought to be a Fetlock-Chimera trait.
Fet causes thin "scruff" on the ankles, not full fetlocks.
1 - UNICORN HORN - UNH is visible as a full, semi-straight horn in the middle of the forehead. The horn can be classic twisted horn, smooth, or grooved. Unh causes a small "gem" bump on the forehead.
1 - CHAMELEON EYES - CHM causes the eyes to change color based on mood and health. Dominant CHM has no pupil or whites of the eyes and is fully covered in changing colors. Chm causes the eyes to be split in colors.
1 - CRESTED - CR creates a short mane that extends down the spine and blends into the tail. Crested blocks the mane and tail from growing to any significant length. Cr creates a short mane with no back crest.
1 - RUSVA - A blotched, white mark pattern that COVERS all stonefur like white out.
- RUS - Dominate. Most commonly seen with the Horse's words partially covered, or the letters broken up and even unreadable. RUSVA DOES NOT AFFECT MANE OR TAIL COLOR!!
- Rus - Passive, creates paint-like markings. Hard to identify unless it breaks up stone fur markings or words. Marks are minimal, marking less than 1/3rd of the horse.
2 - DWARVEN RUNE WRITING - DWR is dominant and causes the text on the horse to be written in Dwarven Runes instead of Elf Script. Common to see with more blocky, dwarf-looking markings. Dwr is a single gene and tends to cause runic markings, with Elven writing.
2 - EXTENDED STONE FUR - EXSF is visible as the stonefur spreading into the mane and tail, typically where the body's stonefur touches the mane and tail. Exsf won't be visible but causes strands of stiff, stone-like hair in the mane and tail.
2 - EASTERN DRAGON WHISKERS - EDW causes long strong muscled whiskers coming from the sides of the nose. Edw causes more like a small mustache.
2 - DRAGON HORNS - DRH has horns on head and jaw line. Drh just has the two horns on top of the head and no jaw spikes. Dragon horns should keep similar shapes to parents in breedings. (Elk antler parents shouldn't have ram-horned foals 9/10 times.) Passive horns tend to be less impressive than Doms as well.
2 - UNICORN TAIL - UNTL is visible as a long, serpentine tail with tail fur at the tip and occasionally the base of the tail. Untl causes a long unicorn-type tail fully covered in long hair.
2 - YAK - Dom YAK creates a thick, long coat over most of the body (75% and up). Hair straightness/curliness can vary but often match the mane and tail.
Passive Yak typically causes extra long hair on the chest, belly, and sometimes legs (Or less than 75% of the body).
2 - SIGHTLESS EYES - STLS is visible as fully white, or near white, eyes with no pupal or variation in the eyes. Dominant Sightless tend to be blind in a normal sense but can see in heat signatures. Stls cause very pale or white eyes w/ pupal. It is not uncommon for the STLS gene to cause blindness no matter the expression.
2 - INNER FIRE - Creates bio-luminescent skin in the "soft spots" of the horse. Soft spots include the Inside of the mouth, eyes, inner ears, inside of nose, hooves, genitals, teats in mares, and occasionally inside hind legs (between butt cheeks). The skin here is tinted with pigment that matches Stonefur. These places glow the color of stone fur. Stonefur does not glow.
- INF has 4 or more soft spots affected.
- Inf has 3 or fewer.
3 - SKULL MUTATION - SK is visible as a full skull 'mask' over the face of the horse. The skull can be horse-shaped, canine-shaped, or other. This Skull should ALWAYS be bone colored unless it is colored by stonefur. Sk will cause random bony growths on the face, typically in the form of a front plate on the face.
3 - MYSTIC - MYST creates actual stone growths on the body. These stone growths are ONLY the same stone that WOULD be stonefur. All other stonefur (excluding writing) is missing. MSTC in a DragonScale causes scales to form instead of stones. Stones never stop growing!
--- IF YOU WANT FULL BODY STONE FUR + MYSTIC, PLEASE GET ADMIN APPROVAL FIRST. This is not a common occurrence and is deemed a rare combination since Mystic tends to limit the stonefur into the mystic stones.
Myst creates small "beads" of stone on the horse's body. Stonefur may or may not be visible with passive Myst mutation.
--- Formerly known as MSTC
3 - MOODRING - MOOD, which is dominant, changes the shade of a horse's stonefur depending on its mood. The happier the horse, the lighter and more vibrant their stone fur. The darker the mood, the darker the stone fur. There can be multiple shades throughout their stone fur, especially as their mood shifts.
Mood, which is passive, creates permanent, unchanging shades in the horse's stone fur, no matter the stone.
4 - KELPIE - A full body Mutation.
- KEL creates multiple things on the horse. A long, mermaid or fish-type tail (Always finned like a fish, not a dolphin or Shark). Mane grows in as a fin (can be affected by Crest Mutation, causing a fin all down back). Natural Born Healing Magic. Fetlock mutations come in as Fins on the fetlocks. Kelpie also overrides all Wing mutations and causes any wings to grow like fish fins. The Shape of the wings, or growth of the wings, depends on the wing mutation. Kelpies also have GILLS! They can breathe under the water AS WELL as out of the water!
- nKel is the passive form of the gene. Passive Kelpie can create fins on fetlocks, Mane fin, and modified Wing Mutations. Passive Kelpies have normal tails and DO NOT have the water breathing ability, NOR are they naturally born with magic.
---- There are a few special, limited Shark Finned EWH. These are only able to be created with ADMIN APPROVAL, and only have a 5% chance of passing on that shark fin appearance. Admin will roll this when breeding!!!
4 - Familiar - FAM - Dominant expression. Causes the horse to have a spiritual connection to one large or medium, or Two small, companion animals (Or a small swarm of tiny).
Fam - Passive expression. Causes the horse to have one Small or Tiny companion.
Familiar does cause the horse to share emotions such as pain and pleasure with their Familiar. A Horse's familiar can die from injury and illness, but never old age for as long as the horse still is alive. If the familiar dies, the horse will live on. If the horse dies, the familiar will die as well.
4 - ANGEL WINGS - ANG is the dominant expression causing large feathered wings similar to bird wings. Ang causes feathers to grow along the shoulders in a crest or fin of feathers.
4 - DEMON WINGS - DEM is the dominant expression causing large leathery wings similar to dragon or bat wings. Dem causes shoulder "fins" to grow.
5 - FIRE MANE/ TAIL - FMT causes the mane and tail to be made of fire. Fmt causes little "sparks" of fire in the hair of the mane and tail.
Fire is ALWAYS standard fire colors, with it's only variation being of the intensity of the flame. To get colored flames, FMT needs to be paired with the extended stonefur gene.
7 - ORC - Fullbody mutation. Creates hairlessness as well as one set of tusks from the bottom jaw of the horse. The skin will be pigmented by stonefur.
- ORC (dominate) mutation blocks out many of the coat-based mutations. Can have other mutations dominate, but they won't be visible. Wing and skull mutations will be visible, but lacking feathers.
- Orc causes hairlessness except for the mane and tail. Tusks are small.
7 - SMEAGOL - Very rare. SMGL is similar to an extreme expression of chimera that affects the base coats AS WELL AS the stonefur and mutations.
- Genetics will be written as:
StoneRarity / Color(s) / Marking Mutations / Physical Mutations / SMGL / StoneRarity / Color(s) / Marking Mutations / Physical Mutations
- Smgl can cause Chimera on the base coat but does not cause a split in mutations or stonefur.
8 - LIANTE - Dominate Liante, which means Spider, creates extra appendages on the horse. They can have up to four extra limbs! This mutation is a cousin of Demon Wings, and most commonly, forms little arm-like appendages, or if paired with Demon Wings, up to four wings!
- LIAN - Dominate. Creates up to four additional legs, Arm-like appendages, Wings, or even tails.
- Lian - Passive. Typically not visible, but can cause little growths that are useless and typically removed.
8 - HENNETH - Henneth, or Windowed, Mutation causes an odd growth of Stone on the horse. The stone replaces skin in the affected area, allowing you to see the muscle structure, bone structure, and in extreme cases, even internal organs of the horse. It is common to have veins through the Henneth stone areas. If the stone covers an area that is moveable, the stone will have visible cracks, allowing movement.
- HEN - Dominate Henneth. Creates up to 2/3s of the horse covered in their stone, allowing you to see inside or under the skin of the horse.
- Hen - Passive. Typically not visible, but not uncommon to have mild visibility, such as in their writing.
9 - HEN2 - Extreme expression! Covers 2/3 to full body in Henneth.
9 - ALBINOISM - Lack of pigment resulting in white fur with red or pink eyes. Only visible as AL. Al can cause health issues, such as low fertility, bad legs, blindness, deafness, and/or others. AL does not affect the stonefur.
9 - DWARFISM - The stunting of growth, especially within the legs. Not the healthiest mutation, but when done right, you can have a healthy, workable dwarf EWH. DW - Dom dwarfsim, can ONLY be bred AI to anything not a small pony or another Dwarf. Dw - Passive dwarfism, is not visible at all and is just carried. This gene can decide to go dominant for no reason and has a slightly higher random chance than other mutations. This mutation is more of a genetic FLUKE than a legitimate mutation. Dwarf horses tend to stay between 5-8 hands (20 to 32 inches).
9 - RAUKO - Rauko, also known as the Unholy Mutation, is a Demon and Orc-bred mutation.
- RKO - Dominate. Creates the horse to have two sets of eyes, One set of which is blind except for Heat Vision, an extended mouth, spurs on the fetlock joints, and no outer ear.
- Rko- Passive. Only has only a few of the effects of the normal mutations. Most common in passives are the Extended mouth and Spurs.
9 - FAIRY - Another full body mutation - FAIR creates a combination of Fairy or Butterfly wings (Which CAN be various unnatural colors, BUT MUST ALWAYS include their Stonefur color), extended growth of mane and tail, natural born plant magic, overrides all other wing mutations (If the horse has Demon or Angel wings, A SECOND SET of wings will grow in UNDER their fairy wings, but these new wings WILL ALSO TAKE A FAIRY APPEARANCE). This horse GLITTERS! Due to their wings and body letting off a fine, gemstone-type dust, they glitter in the light. The higher rarity Stones glitter more, of course.
- nFair is the passive form of the gene. Passive Fairy can create Double Wing Growth (But not into Fairy wing appearance), Long Mane and tail, and the Glitter still. If they have any wings, they will NOT be Fairy in appearance. A passive fairy gene cannot cause wings on its own.
9 - HEAVENLY MUTATION - RARE mutation that cancels out ALL negatives of genetic mutations and adds Zalatar blessings to 50% on all breedings to Heavenly horses.
HEV - Dominant Heavenly - Halo of light, in the stone fur colors, around the head. It always seems to glow and illuminate the horse's face. Always a Rare or higher rarity of stonefur. A Dominant Heavenly will NEVER be dominant on anything less than Rare stone. Born with Purification magic. Born with the ability to make mental connections to any living being. Dominant Heavenly ONLY happens on twin horses, where one is born heavenly, one is born Hellish.
Hev - Passive Heavenly - Only has one or two of the heavenly traits, with the halo being the most common.
---When breeding Dom Heavenly horses, all foals will be AT LEAST passive heavenly. Breeding two dom Heavenly (Or Heavenly x Hellish) horses will still only GUARANTEE passive heavenly. You can only get dom foals in breeding if they roll for twins (Heavenly mares get lifted to a 25% twin chance automatically)
9 - Hellish Mutation - RARE mutation that cancels out ALL negatives of genetic mutations and adds Zalatar blessings to 50% on all breedings to Hellish horses.
HEL - Dominant Hellish - Orb of light, in the stone fur colors, just between the ears. It always seems to glow and illuminate the horse's face, but not in a halo effect, more concentrated. Always a Rare or higher rarity of stonefur. A Dominant Hellish will NEVER be dominant on anything less than Rare stone. Born with Curse magic. Born with the ability to make mental connections to any living being.
Hel - Passive Hellish- Only has one or two of the Hellish traits. Dominant Hellish ONLY happens on twin horses, where one is born heavenly, and one is born Hellish.
---When breeding Dom Hellish horses, all foals will be AT LEAST passive Hellish. Breeding two dom Heavenly (Or Heavenly x Hellish) horses will still only GUARANTEE passive Hellish. You can only get dom foals in breeding if they roll for twins (Hellish mares get lifted to a 25% twin chance automatically)
10 - WRAITH MUTATION - Very rare mutation affects many of the horses' aspects.
- WRA - Dominant. Creates a "Bleeding" effect from the nose, mouth, eyes, and/or other areas of the body. This is ALWAYS the horse's stone. Pure black eyes with NO pupils or whites of the eyes ((Exception is on Albino, then eyes will be pure red with no pupils or whites)). Possible Bone plating. Most common where bones are closer to the skin's surface such as the head, ribs, spine, and legs. Tend to be thin. Stone tends to only be visible from their bleeding effect and words, BUT NOT ALWAYS. (They can have stone fur marks, just less common in dom Wraith). Cancels out MOST other mutations (list below)---They can still have DOM and PASS other mutations, they just will NOT be visible. Mane and Tail growth minimal.
- Wra - Passive. Eyes tend to be dark, but not pure black. Minimal to NO bleeding effect. Minimal to no Bone plating. Normal weight and build. Does not cancel out mutations. Mane and tail growth normal.
DOMINATE WRAITH CANCELS OUT (or covers up) THE FOLLOWING MUTATIONS:::

- Chameleon Eyes
- Passive Crested
- Passive Yak
- Henneth
- Rusva
- Liante
- Passive Moodring
STONE FUR WILL ALSO COUNT TOWARDS RARITY
Common - 1
Semi-Precious - 2
Precious - 3
Rare - 5
Ethereal - 7
BUILDS ALSO COUNT TOWARDS RARITY
Standard - 0
Giant - 5
Pony - 1
Birth Defects
As an Elven Warhorse's rarity points go up, so do its potential for genetic defects and its potential to cause defects in any foals. At a high enough rating, the horse will be sterilized to prevent unhealthy foals. Due to Regal EWH having more pure blood, they are not affected by point-based defects and have a lower chance of causing them. All REGAL EWH have their chances of defects cut in HALF.
1-5 points - 5% chance of defect. (Full breeding slots)
6-10 points - 10% chance. (Full breeding slots)
11-20 points - 20% chance. (Only 3 to 4 breeding slots per level)
21-25 points - 35% Chance. (Only 1 to 3 breeding slots per level)
26-30 points - 50% chance - Typically sterilized by Association. If certain mutations make up most of the rarity, then Association will reconsider. (Zero to two breeding slots per level)
31+ points - 60% chance. Horses will be sterilized by association.
Higher Rarity points also have a higher chance of rolling LOWER amounts of breeding spaces. This is to account for the LOWER chance of successful breeding from that horse.
Important Note::: True White EWH do not exist. A white EWH tends to be either White/Grey on (base color), high expression of paint marks or an Albino.
M235 - The Dark Mother -- Sapphire Black W/ Fangs (dom), Familiar (Passive), Liante (dom), Unicorn horn (pass)
